I am looking to find a software solution of where I can plug a phone into the computer and record calls directly to the machine. Right now, we are recording straight to a digital recorder, then downloading from the recorder to the machine.

I need to get this ramped for our compliance team here.

I am curious if anyone has worked with this before and done this.

Thanks

Do you mean using the phone as answering machine or something like recording a telephone interview (or any conversation) straight to the comp?

There are quite a few programs that will use your internal modem to record straight to the computer. Modem Spy and Call Corder are two of the more popular I think.

I found a free one by searching long and far. I use it for phone interviews, and it works well enough. No bells and whistles or anything, of course. It's called Record On Phone:

Not sure if that's what you're looking for or not.
