In the comic book world, there once was a series called "What If" which put established characters and asked what if things had gone differently? I thought it might be an interested conversation to put this in movie terms.

So ... Tarantino writes and directs King Kong. What would be different?

Funny thing is, I could of sworn that Tim Burton was supposed to of directed King Kong.

And, what ever happened to the new Superman movie?

If Tarantino directed King Kong, there'd be lot more blood.

Do you know what they call a Quarter Pounder with cheese on Skull Island?

Where did all the blood go in Volume 2?

Anyone ever here if he admitted that all the Blood in Volume 1 was a mistake so he did no have it when they shot the sequal? Or, do directors never admit mistakes?

I mean, that blood in volume 1 was just plain stupid if you ask me.

Robert Rodriguez would direct a scene, Uma Thurman would star, and the movie would've come out in 2015 instead of this year.

There definitely would have been some lengthy dialogue about the size of Kong's dong.

Did you not know that shot Kill Bill together, and then split it up for release? Were you living under a rock or something?

The new Superman movie is coming out this summer. It's being directed by Bryan Singer who did "The Usual Suspects" and the two X-Men movies.

Reminds me of the SNL King Kong skit.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but it would suck.

If it's not about inane chatter or violence, Tarantino will make it about those things.

I think he's a fine filmmaker, but a seriously odd guy. I had just finished watching "Jackie Brown" before logging in here in fact. Totally underrated movie.

Jackie Brown is far and away my favorite Tarantino movie.

There would be at least one odd, lingering shot of King Kong's feet.

Also, the entire thing would be backwards.

That's a disturbing thought.

DOES KING KONG LOOK LIKE A BITCH!?

If Speilberg directed Kong, the monkey would be 4-feet tall with a cute face but his very annoying wife would still be screaming throughout the whole movie.

Jackie Brown is far and away my favorite Tarantino movie.

Also its the only Tarantino movie that he adapted from a novel(thus far). Probably why it was a bit of a departure.

Wasn't one of the "What if's" What if the baby Kal-El was found by the Wayne family of Gotham?

I read that, pretty awesome. The real Bruce never came to be (since the Wayne's already had a handful with this kid). Wayne murder happens, and the kid just melts the guy down with his heat vision.

Think Batman with Superman's powers.
