I have been taping 24 which is beig shown every Monday on A&E at 4 hour clips. Then I am watching it when I exercise on my treadmill in the garage (wife doesn't like it in the house, too noisy and takes up too much room). I had already watched seasons 1-4 but as I watch them again I see allot that I either missed or had forgotten. It is very enjoyable and helps make running on the tready allot easier especially when it is in the 20's outside (the garage is not heated).
Yesterday I was watching an episode and saw something that I had missed before. Remember how seasons 1-3 had an episode that ended with a silent countdown? Season 1 it was the ending episode as well as season 2. In season three it was the episode when Chappelle was killed by Jack. Well last night while exercising there was another silent countdown, but during the episode not at the end.
So the trivia question (s) for all of you 24 buffs is this: What season was this episode in, and what was the time (to the minute, on either side of the countdown will do)? What was the "traumatic" event that was taking place when this silent countdown happened?
The first person to correctly answer this question will get a free DVD of the first 2 episodes of 24 (as long as this isn't illegal and if they give me their address)!

When the nuke went off?
Nope, but I will give you an additional clue:
Who flew the plane with the nuke on it?

You got part three right....but to fully qualify for the prize I need the time (nearest minute) and season (which is easy since you know the episode).

I'm intrigued by what a slightly (or maybe vastly) overweight gent running on a treadmill in 20 degree weather in his garage watching a tv would look like!! Pix pls...

Season Two
Episode "9:00pm to 10:00pm"
9:35 or 36
Mason walks out of CTU for the last time.
And 24 season five is going to kick all kinds of ass:

Frankly, I think they should have stopped after season one, or at least used focused on other people rather than Jack.

Good job and thanks for playing!
Season 2 was IMO would have been the best season, except for one thing....Kim Bauer and the silly plot-lines that they tried to establish for her. I was so glad that they finally dumped her last year! besides "eye-candy" she added nothing positive to the show.

Ok if you really want to see sweat dripping from my face, then I will have my wife take pictures for you :p
Story backdrop: When we moved into our home in 2003 I had the cable guy setup a cable in the garage for our ancient 24 inch console TV. Along with a 10 year old VCR I have spent many hundreds of hours out there trying to stay in shape. Actually it also helps with stress and my Doctor says it will keep me in great health for many years!
The cold weather did present a challenge as my mucles (calfs mostly) would tighten up after about 10 minutes and it was a real challenge to make it to 30 minutes. Thankfully the weather has warmed up to 40-50 degrees which is our winter norm in the pacific Northwest. So my muscles loosten up easily and the sweat comes without allot of strain. Much more enjoyable. I usually tape shows like ER and 24 during the day to watch as I treadmill. When SciFi Friday is going (new episodes of Stargate SG-1 and Atlantis along with Battleststar Galactica) then I usually watch that (taped). I am planning on getting a DVD/VCR for the garage so I can enjoy DVDs along with VHS tapes:)
So is that enough information for you?

yes... and now I feel even more like a lazy bastard. I usually watch my 24 lying on the couch with gin and tonic in hand.
