Get in touch/keep in touch with friends better
I have a few good friends who I've lost contact with (to varying degrees). I'd like to mend any issues there and do a better job of keeping up with some current relationships that will be headed that way if I'm not more active.
And the old standby of lose weight/exercise more. But that's a constant process, not a 2006 specific initiative.
You?

Gonna go with reverse psychology this year, and make my resolution to gain 30 pounds. That way, when I don't, it will be a success!

I should have expanded upon my resolution even further. It kind of pushed itself to #1 over the last week. On average I would say I wake up and remember any dream about 1 in 20 days. This past week I had extremely vivid, realistic dreams for 4 consecutive nights. 2 of them involved friends I've lost touch with playing a very prominent role, one of them even blaming me in-dream for the fact that we didn't maintain contact. It was some weird shit. Anyway, I already put the wheels in motion yesterday by making a few phone calls to people I hadn't talked to in a while (one a few months, the other a few years). I figure the subconscious must have some purpose. :shurg:

I like this one alot. I will try to lose weight about 25 pounds and be more positive and less cynical. That one already is in trouble of failing. My wife and my brother-in-law have been arguing in Korean for the last 15 minutes related to my brother-in-law's let us say "personality flaws".

Lose weight/get in better shape
Do better at keeping the house straightened up and enforce the "rules of the house" better (ie - if you take it out, you put it away)
Be a better mom (this is on every list - something I continually strive for)
Oh yeah, have an affair with one of the FOFC hotties

Every year the same resolution....
For me, keep losing weight. I need to refocus to keep going down, I have slacked off some the last two-three months and seeing less results. Ihave slacked off on everything, I need to be less of a slacker.

For me...
To get things into order...chaos rules my life, and I want structure.
and #2, since I am the Official HB Personal Trainer, it would do for me to get back into the gym and back down below 200....

As for mine...
Keep better tabs on the family finances.
Fix more house-related things.
Eat (much) healthier and exercise regularly, thereby losing weight.
Get a full physical and do all the nasty tests 40+ year olds should do.
Get snipped. :o

Not really a resolution, but I'm going to try to take my poker game to another level.
My first goal is to be able to beat any 1-2 NL game anywhere. I think I'm fairly close. I know most of the tricks of the trade; it's just a matter of picking the right times to apply them. In the .10-.25 games I've tried online (http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?t=44843), I've found it best not to be tricky.
My second goal is to be able to be a winning player at the $100+9 sit-and-gos on Stars. I actually won one of the two I've played (finished 4th in the other), and I have a 30% ROI in the over 100 $10+1s I played in last year, so I think I'm close here too. It's mostly a matter of bankroll and temperament. And desire.
And my third goal is to improve my limit game. I'm not very fond of it, and I'm only breakeven at it (if that), but most bonuses clear a lot easier with limit than with NL, and it adds versatility to my game (not that I care much about that).

Drink less soda... (started 2 weeks ago)
4 cans a day (diet or regular) just isn't healthy. In the last 2 weeks, I've had 4 sodas... so, not as difficult as I thought to cut way back.
