Hey all,

Just wondering. Do any of you pay to watch sporting events online? Either MLB or whatever? If so what do you think of the quality and value? If there was an "Internet Sports Network" where you could see sporting events that you normally wouldn't get to watch would you watch? And what sports would you want to see? I'm a sucker for sports that I can't see regularly on Canadian TV and I was wondering if others are the same.

The only internet pay thing I've done for sports is the mlb.com package. And with that, I utilized the radio feeds about 98% of the time, the video feeds about 2%.

At the time, for what I got out of it, I was satisfied with the value.
Quality, I'm not a fan of watching TV/Video on my computer monitor (which is a pretty average Phillips 15" flatscreen).

At this point, I can't think of much that isn't on TV I would watch/listen to on a consistent basis other than occasional NHL games that aren't on broadcast/cable & the local ECHL team (which has no TV & virtually no radio).

I used MLB TV when I lived in Texas to watch Mets games, I had no issues with quality of the broadcast. As long as you have a high speed connection and a fast computer you would be fine.

I've ordered the NCAA tournament web casts the past two years. If you don't mind a few second lag, it's fine.
