Dear Beloved in Christ,

The time has come for Christians to worship God in
spirit and in truth according to the
book of John chapter 4:vs23-24.``But the hour cometh
and now is when the true worshipers shall worship the
Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh
such to worship him . God is a spirit, and they that
worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth``.
Based on this scripture, it became obvious that I
should do the right thing if I must enter into the
kingdom of God.

I am Barrister james Smith, the legal adviser to
late Mr. Mike & Carol godwin,
a God fearing and dedicated Christian here in Nigeria
They were very wealthy but had no child. This
couple lost their live on 24TH APRIL,2005:
during the TRAIN CRASH.
As their legal adviser, before their death, the
husband Mr. Mike godwin instructed me to write his WILL,
because they had no child, he dedicated their wealth
to God. They had a lot of landed properties ,houses,
Stocks/bonds, etc. According to their instruction ,I
have sold all these properties and realize
$45,000,000.00 USD(Forty five million US

Dollars). These properties was bought by a good
Christian , who pleaded that I should not disclose his
identity. He paid cash, the cash was packaged
sealed in a trunk box and deposited as Gold bars for
security reasons the trunk box is presently deposited with a
security company within Europe which
will be disclosed to you as we proceed.

According to the WILL, their assets should be given
out to a ministry for the
work of God. As their legal adviser, all the documents
for the fund that are
deposited with the security company are in my care.
As a born again Christian , I have been reading my
bible and I have to do what is
lawful and right in the sight of God by giving out the
fund to the chosen

ministry for the purpose of God's work as instructed
by the owners before there
death. After my fasting and prayers Today, I asked God
to make his choice and
direct me to an honest Christian or the chosen
ministry that deserves this fund
by his Grace. I then came across your address on the
Internet as I was browsing
I appeal to you to use the
fund wisely for

things that will glorify the name of God. I have just
notified the Security
Company where they deposited the consignments that
contained the fund, that I
am moving the consignment abroad, and the security
company is awaiting my
instruction to move the consignment out of Unit?ed
Kingdom.

Dear in Christ, if you know that you will use this
fund honestly and wisely
for things that will glorify God's name, please pray
over it and respond immediately.
To proceed with the work of God and have the trunk box
moved to your destination, I will need your full
names and address. Your telephone and fax numbers will
be highly appreciated for good communication.
May God bless you as you make up your mind to work for
God.private e-mail [email protected]
Thanks.
Barrister james smith.

Because God communicates his will through spam email, I am certain.

Is it just me, or does the total never deviate from $45 million in these things? I mean, did they do some kind of focus group to figure out the breakpoint for when common sense overtakes avarice?

For an organization with 45 million to hand out, they could use an email program with spel chk.

How about this, you send me all your banking information and credit card numbers, and I'll let you know what happens.

Or if you're up for it and are juvenile enough, you can engage in the emerging sport of scammer-baiting...

hxxp://www.ebolamonkeyman.com/ (NSFW)My personal favorite are still the Anus Laptops scam baiting on 419eater's forums. To make a long story short, they manage to con some 419'ers into paying exorbitant shipping costs for progressively larger and larger objects under the guise that they are buying really cheap laptops (after all, if you can fool people into sending you money, why not "invest" it in cheap computers you can scam people with). In the first, for instance, they work their way up to a broken washer covered with pictures like goatse and tubgirl and something like $15000 in costs using excuses like "my disgruntled employee must have changed the package" and so on. They're works of art :)

Awhile back a friend of mine pointed me to a website that was entirely devoted to counter-conning these types of bozos. The person would play along for weeks or months, claiming to be a priest or a nun, and eventually get the con-man - as proof of their sincerity - to hold up goofy signs in photographs and then mail them to him so he could post them on his website. It was bloody beautiful.

Thats the one I thing I find hard to comprehend - someone somewhere must fall for these otherwise they wouldn't continue to do them would they?

My favorite recent spam was one with the subject something like "swedish blonde coeds swallowing ... " and the first line was something like "Is Christ in your heart?" And it turned out to be an ad for a Christian mortgage company, which I didn't even realize those existed.

At least it's better than a Djiboutian scam. We all know they don't have money over here.

Thats the one I thing I find hard to comprehend - someone somewhere must fall for these otherwise they wouldn't continue to do them would they?

Actually, I heard a report on them (and others) on a BBC podcast a couple months ago - it's not necessarily that they keep working, but there are books about how to run these scams and make money from them on sale all over the place.

My favorite part is the capitalization of "train crash". All obituaries should use this from now on..Example:

Mary Helen Stoddard entered into rest after a long battle with LUNG CANCER

Steven Hurst climbed heaven's chimney April 2nd after a SUDDEN EMBOLISM

I believe that the person fell for the scam, gave up thier info, lost money and moronically traveled to Nigeria to get his money back...

I'm still trying to decide if I wanna open up an account(with like 5 bucks in it) just for this kind of crap and see what happens..

Barrister James Smith sure is a busy beaver...I've gotten 4 from him and he works for 4 different dead ppl.
