So I'm reading the article about the 12-year old who stuck his gum on a $1.5 million painting while touring the Detroit Institute of Arts, and you know how they link to video within the article? Well, check this description out:

(Watch why the boy put the goo on the canvas, see the stain -- 1:32)

Now come on. Are you telling me an editor let that through? Thankfully, I had finished my pudding about an hour ago.

I have to say that link looks horrifically broken or something.

I don't know whether the link works or not. I was laughing too hard at what it said.

At least the link contains the subfolder 'offbeat' instead of... You get the idea ;)

I call this trend the "Fark-i-zation" of online headlines. I'm sure that the guy who came up with that headline at CNN knew full well that someone would submit it to Fark as is. I wouldn't be suprised if the author submitted it themself.

I deactivated the link. I was just posting it directly because of the description. I'm sure the video, if it works, is a little more discriminating in the description of what occurred.
