I wasn't sure how to title this thread. But basically, I had a job interview today for a staff attorney position in the federal court system. In a way, it's a dream job for me b/c it allows me to perform legal research and writing, and help people at the same time. Well, the interview was held in a room without air conditioning and I was sitting at the end of the table with the sun blaring down on me. It was a panel interview, with all seven attorneys in the division at the table asking me questions. Most of them seemed interested.
But, I'm still not sure how to judge how it went. At the end, I was told the timeline, and the senior staff attorney mentioned my supervisor. So, a few things. First, in my thank you letter, should I include a copy of my most recent performance evaluation (stellar)? Should I include my supervisor's phone number as well, which would give her a clue that I'm looking. Mind you, she knows I'm looking for federal employment, she just didn't know I was interviewing. Second, how can you tell how the interview went?
Thanks for the help. I'm a long-time member, but a few time poster.
