FOFC Cup X - New Info!

The FOFC cup is making a comeback!

The tournament will begin on March 15 with the friendlies following league week 10.

Group play (March 15 - March 29, weeks 10/11/12)

The teams will be divided into groups of 4 and will play the other 3 teams once in a round robin tournament. Each group will be hosted by an FOFC team, and all matches from each group will be played on neutral ground at their arena. All matches are too be played normal rules (not cup).
The winner of each group will advance to the final tournament.

Tiebreakers:





Goal differential
Goals scored
Average hatstats rating
Coin toss
Tournament (April 5-19, weeks 13/14/Q)

Eight teams (group winners plus wild cards) will advance to a single elimination tournament. Again all matches will be played at a neutral location.

The teams with the most points that did not win their group will be the wild cards. Same tiebreakers as for the group winners.

Group winners get the top seeds.

To enter please post in this thread. Entries are due by Tuesday, March 7 at 5PM Pacific at which point I will try to find enough teams to fill out the final group. Up to 32 teams can participate.
