This upcoming weeks match is going to be a very very important match for me. Myself and two other teams are tied for 1st with 27 points. I'm in 3rd on goal differential and I'll never catch up there, so if I have a chance for the title I have to win. And, I have to win this week against the #1 team.
I'm looking for more input as I've looked at this over and over again. The team is better then mine. His highest Hatstat this season was 222 and mine has been 206. Close, but his team hits more stars and stats then me regularly.
Now when I played him at home this year, I won, and here is where my true debate comes in. I didn't think I had a chance with him, so I did something wierd. I MOTSed and in 3-4-3 put both forwards towards wing, did AOW, and played my one winger offensive. I won that match 2-1, both goals coming from the side with the offensice winger. Both goals came from the left, so I don't know if I would have scored at all without this formation.
I also did the exact same AOW setup against the other team currently tied for first and beat him as well 3-2. Seems like it was working for me..
So at first, I'm thinking maybe I should do this again? Or on the other hand, maybe it was just a fluke as I was home team, and I'd be better off facing him head to head....
He plays a 3-5-2. My TS is higher now then it was, its at Satisfied, and if I MOTS I could hit 220ish I think.
So what do you experts think? Should I roll with what I did last time, the AOW, and see what happens? Or since my TS is higher now, should I just MOTS, put my forwards normal, do normal tactic, and just cross my fingers in a head to head match??
I can't decide and this will make or break my season, allthough in the last week I have to face the OTHER team that is currently tied for 1st :(
