Historical Draft/Player Files

Hi guys. Could anyone point me in the direction of any historical player files? I was hoping to start a single player game around the mid 80's and play through using the relevant draft files. The links I've tried are dead. Are these still available?

That page went down some time ago, but some people should have them. I'm surprised the reference thread wasn't updated with a new location for them, but I'm sure someone will show up who has them.

dola -- There's a league, the GEFL, which started using a 1980 league file. Maybe they have that file on their web page.

Thanks for the efforts guys. I did find that link in the archives nilodor. 1992 was corrupted, and in 1980 the players are jumbled for some strange reason. A dozen or so teams have all the best players, and the rest have leftovers. None of the players are on the right team. Bizarre.

That was the same page that nilodor suggested. The draft files may be fine, but there seems to be a problem with the Historical rosters. Thanks for trying anyway. I think I will just do an initial allocation draft, that should be a bit of fun.

I think the 1980 roster file doesn't have players on their proper teams. The best way to play with that file would be to start with a dispersal draft...

Before the historical site went down, I saved everything that was on the site. Now I don't know if this is exactly the same stuff on Icy's site (it probably is), but I've upped it anyway.

I emailed Icy a while ago about updating those files that gives an error - it's the wrong version on them.
