The next great challenge - 70 stars.

We put up 67 stars tonight in a losing effort. If we had trotted out our standard 352, it would have been about 68. To me, that is striking distance to the next hurdle in hattrick. This was the biggest star total for the MISFC to date, and I can only imagine, if we can continue to grow, and have a productive offseason, that we can be pushing 70 stars early next season.

Frankly, I'd rather pull a 317 hatstats kind of game with 65.5 stars overall and win it than pull a 238 hatstats 66.0 stars, although we also won that one...

Still it makes it fun to see how high one's team can go :)

Our best is only 66.5 at the moment...

My best is about 58. So close to 60 I can taste it.

I had a team best 69.5* this past week. I was missing 2 starters, so I should finally be able to break 70* when the team gets healthy or my #1 IM gets out of poor form.

So with 2 games to play. I'm tie for first with 33 points and +60 GD. The other team has a +65 GD. I play the 12th place bot team while he plays the 4th place team. Chances are that we will enter week 14 with the same GD and a matchup that will decide who promotes to D.III.

I may FINALLY get out of IV.19 but not until I win my week 14 matchup. Ugh. Please don't screw me HT.

Alright, so it wasn't early in the season, but this, along with our league position has us celebrating.....a little. See me in two weeks to see if we are really celebrating.

Nowhere near 70 stars, but the Packers put up a personal best of 52 stars tonight. :)

The previous best was 49. It helped getting a new keeper (wc replaced an excellent), and that my 19 yo brillant forward got 7 stars on his own (solid form and it was raining -- he likes mud).
