Here is the second edition of Fact or Fiction! Since some people are withholding comments on the previous edition, I thought I bring something up that may bring up a good sports discussion. I'll change gears and bring up about a baseball topic since the season is under way.
Fact or Fiction: Barry Bonds will not pass Babe Ruth for #2 on the all time homerun list by the All-Star Break.

he only needs six, and even in his condition, he should be able to get them

I voted wrong. He will pass Babe Ruth probably before the end of May at the latest.

I'm going with fiction as well. Despite the fact he is struggling, I would think that he has enough in him to put up another six homeruns by the All-Star Break.
I don't think he'll have more than 20 this season though with his bad knee and elbow.
when is the all-star break

Of course he will.

I think Bonds definitely passes Ruth before the All-Star break. Even crappy sluggers hit a few homers......yes Omar Vizquel im talking about you.

I think he'll suffer a career-ending injury before he surpasses Babe Ruth. The Baseball Gods are angry with him.

That's about the only thing I see maybe stopping him. He could blow his knee out which would in affect end his career. He'll not come back if he gets another season-ender.

I dunno... I could see him coming back out of spite. I really think he's out to break Ruth's record just to piss everybody off. He might quit before Aaron, but he'll have to literally have his leg fall off before he'll quit chasing Ruth.

He probably plays enough games in Arizona and Colorado to get there. :)

He'll get there easily, especially the way the balls been jumping out of the park this year.

Provided he remains ambulatory, he passes Ruth by July.

I'm in the "who cares" camp. So many ballplayers have cheated, apparently, that the entire record book has become worthless.
