I just bought a new computer and I'm looking for new games to buy. I like all sorts of games so give me your top 5 list of games I should look into getting.

I bought SIm City 4 and Morrowind...

Thanks

well, Morrowind would have been my choice.

No One Lives Forever 2 is a recent purchase that's supposed to be pretty cool - I'll probably play that after I'm done with Morrowind (so, like in November).

you looking for just new games, or good old games?

well, check the reviews on Unreal II when it comes out this week - certainly LOOKS pretty. Hopefully it will play as nice as it looks.

Dungeon Siege is from last summer - that will certainly show off your graphics card.

some "oldies" worth checking out - Max Payne, Plansecape: Torment, Deus Ex, and, especially System Shock 2

Morrowind is the coolest game I've played recently. I love the add-ons. NeverWinter Nights is like that, too. I love RPG. For excellent graphics, try Age of Mythology, Warcraft III, and, for a sports game, how about Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003. Have fun

Someone needs to start a review thread for this game. I loved SC2000, but never really got into SC3000..

DD, I've said it once, and I'll say it again: our taste in computer games is eerily similar. :)

Well, I bought Tiger 2003. It's pretty sweet!! I like the career mode. Anybody have this game for the PC. If so, maybe we can play 18 online sometime...

Besides the obvious CM4 (soon as it comes out)? :)

Base on comments, reviews and developers' support, I'd recommend Europa 1400: The Guild. Especially if you like career-type games.

Medieval: Total War also sound interesting and the RTS portion should allow you to exercise the horse power in your new rig.

if you have morrowind don't bother getting another game for a month. immerse yourself in it. if you don't, you'll probably lose interest, it really needs (and deserves) your full attention.

Pretty much every game mentioned above is worthy of your time. I'd also go Age of Mythology, which is tons of fun.
