Just curious..
I have no idea what to do with my new free time.
I feel like I nailed all the essays, but he MBE was just annoying. It's possible I got every question right, and equally possible I got every question wrong.

I just finished it... a year ago ;).
I wouldn't worry too much, everyone feels the same way about the MBEs.

Congrats on finishing it. It was a miserable two days. I hated that thing, but afterwards it was glorious. I have two and a half months to do absolutely nothing before starting work. Good times...

Back in March, when I had the opportunity to take a new job in Kentucky, I told myself that the next 6 months would suck, but by the end of September, everything would be back to "normal." And now that I just found out I passed the KY Bar Exam, the last big hurdle to our move has been cleared.
I swear I was 100 times more nervous this time than when I took Florida 10 year ago. I guess it was probably a combination of expectations, making such a huge move contingent on getting into the Bar, and all of the issues with moving and closing on a new house right befoe the exam that made it so difficult. But it's over, and I never want to go through that again.
And no, it's not just a coincidence that I posted this and the thread about buying the PS2 back-to-back. :D

It's a great feeling.

Use that bartending card wisely. Try to find a corp. job (Friday's) versus a local watering hole where your bottle flipping talents wont be appreciated by the the locals drinking Old Fashioned Press'
;)

Yeah, I just finished the bar exam, too. That is, if you mean buying a candy bar out of the office vending machine and eating it without being interrupted by co-workers.
Then, yep, I just finished it.

To answer the original question: no, I have not just finished the bar exam. But thanks for asking.

Most states have reciprocity with each other, so that if you have so many years of experience in your home state, you can waive into another state with little problem. However, my home state is (was) Florida, and since Florida is interested in keeping old lawyers from retiring to the state and practicing law once they get there, they make everyone take the Bar exam. Consequently, attorneys leaving Florida for other states are forced to do the same. Now that I will be admitted in KY, though, after 5 years I can waive into about 25 other states.
