Got here at 7:30 this morning to start the first full system backup then I'll be doing the slip install to get from V5R3M0 to V5R3M5. Then we'll run another full system backup and tomorrow morning we start the physical part of the upgrade.
Oh wait... you're not talking about the upgrade I'm doing this weekend?

Hey Brad!
Never realized you lived in Cypress. Small world, I'm from Stanton, but now live in Orange.
I probably should update my profile. I live in Corona now, but I've lived in both Stanton and Cypress. My first apartment was on Katella and Western (long ago).

Same here. I don't see Red X or anything by the person quoted, but I just clicked to quote you the tag says this: "quote=Eaglesfan27;1236187" -- I don't know what those numbers are. Looks new to me. We'll see what happens when I submit.
I'm usually on the FOFC VB style and it looks/works great.

Ah. Now I see. The numbers link to the orignal quote the post came from so you can reference the original post. Nifty upgrade.
But it does look like it performs differently on different skins. On the vB skin you just get a little arrow icon next to the quoted poster's name. On Yellow, I get View Post text but no icon.

Keep in mind that almost all of the non-default styles available here were created several versions of vB ago. As new versions come out, new functionality -- often requiring new images -- is added. These styles have not been maintained over the years.
On top of that, several of the styles here are/were only half-finished to begin with. With Ryan's blessing, I'm planning to look at updating some (probably not all) of the styles so that they work with the new vB functionality. The Sideline and Yellow themes are the priority, but depending on what kind of shape the others are in, I can't make any promises as to their continued availability.
This will, of course, be cause for panic and mayhem amongst a certain segment of the member base, so I wanted to get that out in the open well ahead of time. :)

cool for him :p But I never saw any special powers I could have outside the HT forum before... Tried to click on somebody's "add infraction" button and seemed like I could have been able to add a warning of some sort...
Anyway, I assume the missing graphic with that thing is now a reported issue. Looks like it's the one thing that makes some users's left side panel larger and then screws up the look of a thread...

The 'red X'/image problem with the Yellow scheme should be fixed. I didn't put any text on the multi-quote image since I couldn't match fonts with the existing buttons, but at least there's something there. Just hit F5 a couple of times to refresh your page and pick up the new images.

The 'red X'/image problem with the Yellow scheme should be fixed. I didn't put any text on the multi-quote image since I couldn't match fonts with the existing buttons, but at least there's something there. Just hit F5 a couple of times to refresh your page and pick up the new images.
Have I ever told you that you're my hero?

I heart those who allowed me to go back to Yellow.
