Doug Gabriel gets traded to the Pats??? What is going on here? He was the #2 receiver. There's nobody to take his place. Ronald Curry just came back from a season ending injury and Jerry Porter is still a malcontent!

The only thing I can think of is that Johnnie Morant is looking good enough to be a #2 and/or Andrew Walter will be the starting QB soon. Walter's injuries (both past and current) make this seem way out there.

What is this $#!T?

it's the Jeff George era (part II)

I'm guessing that specifically because you had to tell us what position he played, that this will amount to no major loss. In other words, he was no Jim Lachey.

You will know his name this year.

I also read that Danny Clark was cut. I am now convinced this year will either be a tremendous bounce-back year (very doubtful) or a year to put us in position to have the first draft pick overall (highly likely). It just seems as if we're trying to tank the season.

So does Curry or Porter have any value as a fantasy WR? Aaron Brooks has never really had good chemistry with his #2 WR in the past. He generally doesn't have the dicipline to look off his first read.

I'd be surprised if Curry or Porter has a good season. In order of FF importance, I'd go with LaMont Jordan, Randy Moss, the Defense, and then Courtney Anderson (TE).

I would also think that this would boost Doug Gabriel's stock on NE, so look for him to be a sleeper.

I don't know that is necessarily true(Aaron brooks not having success with #2 WRs) he helped journeyman Willie Jackson to his only 1k yard season in his first year as Saints QB, and last year he almost got an undisiplined Stallworth to 1k. Joe Horn just does such a good job getting seperation down the field, its hard not to look at him early and often.

Now TEs and RBs, I wouldn't expect much out of them in the passing game from Aaron Brooks.

With whatever his name is = 4th place in the AFC West
Without whatever his name is = 4th place in teh AFC West

Seems like a wash to me. ;)

It's the new Randy Ratio. 100% of passes will go to Moss.

I agree. With Randy, you don't need a #2. :)
