So I'm scanning the list and reading the few that actually interest me (not worrying about post counts, I don't feel a need to open every thread and post inane crap just cuz). Anyway, I finish looking at the good stuff and I click on the 'Forum Tools' and slip down to the 'Mark This Forum Read' line and click on it.
And I wait for the expected outcome of taking me out of the forum and back to the main forum index page like it always does (at least that's what it always did for me on Sideline Green)...
...but it doesn't go anywhere so I assume that it's just slow as it quite often is for me. And I wait some more and nothing is happening but I can move my mouse cursor so I say "Fuck you, you stupid piece of shit AT&T/SBC/Yahoo whatever the fuck you are now piece of shit DSL son-of-a-bitch, time wasting, cow ball/mountain oyster eating (I realize some DO, in fact, eat these and like them. I, however, am not one of those people.) douchebag using-but-don't-have-a-pussy asshat mother-fucker. I don't have time for this shit. I got stuff to do, YOU HEARIN' ME???
What's the damn problem, huh? Tell me. I want to know. And I hear in the back of my brain "YOU CAN"T HANDLE THE TRUTH," but it's ok cuz I really can. I've handled three day outages and nasty slowdowns so just give me the lowdown...
...and then I notice that all the little colored thread envelopes are blackish like the thread has been read- yeah, all of them- and my eyes slowly focus on the Sticky: Upgrade issues thread (http://www.operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?t=52313) Ryan S at the top of the queue (is that how you spell that? What a crazy looking word) and I think maybe this is an upgrade feature thing and I look around to make sure noone is staring at me all funny and dialing 911 with a deer-headlight look on their face and I think to myself sheepishly..."never mind"
