With the results academic at this point, I have updated the bracket. No upsets, setting up Judd v. Cuthbert and Theron v. Portman next week in Round 2.

Bracket 2 showdowns will be posted shortly. Miss Dunst tells me she would like to meet up with Mr. Schmidty following her concession speech.

So far, the top seed has won each time (most quite handily). Based on that small sample set, it would seem that a Portman v. Cuthbert match-up would be extremely consistent with "the way things go around here."

The top seeds have had fairly easy matchups so far. There seem to be enough anti-Portman and anti-Cuthbert people around here, and Charlize seems to have a fan base. I wouldn't be surprised to see at least one upset in this bracket.

Cuthber should be safe, I'm not so sure about Portman either, though there seems to be an equally weird anti-Theron faction as well. Apparently some folks have never recovered after seeing her in "Monster."

It is probably a good thing that I never saw "Monster", but I've just never been all that interested in Theron. I think things will get interesting in the second round. I'll also be interested in bracket 3 since it seemed that any of the 8 could win it.

There are a few passionate supporters (e.g., me), but quite a few haters. I think she only ended up with around a 78% or so "Hotness Ranking." Shameful. A dark day in FOFC History.
