Not sure any of you could help, but if that theme is the same both for the CBC's HNiC (English) and SRC's (Société Radio-Canada) "La soirée du Hockey", then I'm with you. I still hum the theme of la soirée du hockey every once in a while, as it really marked my youth...

one that has stuck with me for years and years and years, Greatest American Hero:

Look at what's happened to me,
I can't believe it myself;
Suddenly I'm up on top of the world,
Should've been somebody else.

Believe it or not,
I'm walkin' on air,
I never thought I could feel so free;
Flyin' away on a wing and a pray'r,
Who could it be?
Believe it or not, it's just me.

Just like the light of new day,
It hit me from out of the blue;
Breakin' me out of the spell I was in,
Makin' all of my wishes come true.

Believe it or not,
I'm walkin' on air,
I never thought I could feel so free;
Flyin' away on a wing and a pray'r,
Who could it be?
Believe it or not, it's just me.

This is too good to be true,
Look at me
Falling for you.

Believe it or not,
Believe it or not,
Believe it or not,
Believe it or not.

Believe it or not,
I'm walkin' on air,
I never thought I could feel so free;

Not so much a fan of the themes per se on TOS and TNG, but DS9 and Voyager had FANTASTIC themes. Enterprise's was good, but I think the vocals make it rank below the instrumental ones, DS9 and Voyager (I especially adored the horns in DS9's). Granted, I didn't watch the actual SHOWS much, but I loved their theme songs.

As for whoever said Teen Titans, thank you for getting that STUPID SONG STUCK IN MY HEAD. Drives me BONKERS and now it's going round and round up there. Stupid Puffy kids.

If anybody watches Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, that theme song is perfect for the show, though I wouldn't consider it an all-time classic or in a list of "bests." I also concur with whoever said it, the Knight Rider theme was great (and can still be heard as an underbeat on many pop/dance songs lately).
