...but this one may well be the most vile act I've read about in a long time. And that goes for those 3 dirt-diggers who were scanning the obit pictures.
Teen Accused Of Raping Mom To Spite Brother
POSTED: 2:18 pm EDT October 27, 2006
ALBERTVILLE, Ala. -- A violent attack in Alabama led to the arrest of a teenager who is charged with raping his mother.
Albertville police said Gary Helms Jr., 19, is charged with first-degree rape. Police allege that he sought revenge against his brother after the two argued over a girlfriend and apparently targeted his 45-year-old mother.
Police Sgt. James Smith said the victim was sexually assaulted last weekend in her mobile home. Helms, according to Smith, confessed to the attack. He was ordered held in the Marshall County Jail on a $100,000 bond.

Not that it matters but how exactly is this revenge on his brother?

There's no answer to that question that isn't at least sort of creepy.

I think the guy who was caught humping a four day dead dog beats the dirt diggers.

Or logical since it's his mother as well.

Not necessarily. I think the answer could simply be that the kid viewed it like this - his brother was the favorite and mommy didn't love him as much.
I don't think that's creepy.
What he did is creepy, but the reason for thinking that doing something to mom would be revenge on the brother is not necessarily creepy.

It's Alabama, so she was likely his sister and aunt as well.

He didn't dig up the dog though, so I don't know if you can give him credit because of the effort involved.

So could this have been a case of date rape?

Not to mention, it was his GF's (or ex-GF's?) dog, so again we have to question his effort.

Right but it takes balls to do roadkill right on the side of the road and not in a more private location. Or at night.

He earns style points for humping the dog in full view of a day center, surely.

I think we have very different definitions of "creepy." ;)

I don't know if I'm defining it carefully enough or if it is a different definition...
What I'm trying to say is if brother A has a really close (healthy) relationship with mom and brother B has always been jealous of that then say.. oh... keying mom's car to get revenge at brother A doesn't seem "creepy" to me.
It's the specific action here that is creepy to me, not the fact that Brother B thought he could get back at brother A by doing something to mom.

Leave Mom's car alone. It's not her fault you suck and I'm awesome.
