How do you have a sequel for a movie when the main title character is not in it? I know that Taj is in it, but Van Wilder isn't?

Kind of like the James Bond changes. I mean really, how many british super agents can be called James Bond and not look alike at all. I hope Dikembe Mutombo is the next James Bond.
