I assume GD is the correct forum for this, i apologize if it isn't - but the new nickel and dime depth charts got me thinking.
In fof2k4, you lost your WLB and your MLB (or SILB) for nickel and dime sets, with the blitz percentages for those positions carrying over to the nickel and dime backs. But now that you set who plays LB in those sets, which LB positions correspond to the extra CB positions?
for my 3-4 nickel defense I have positions in the depth chart for SLB, SILB and WLB, so I assume your 3rd cb uses your WILB %
but in the dime I have LB depth chart spots for SLB and SILB, so it would follow that your dime back uses your WLB blitz %'s
But there aren't any WLB blitz percentages since hes part of your "normal 3-4 pass rush". And I'm pretty sure your dime back isnt part of your normal pass rush. So does your dime back never blitz?
So I'm confused, if nobody has looked into this I'll see if I can sim a bunch of seasons with the percentages moving around season to season and see who gets hurries/sacks.
