Tailgate and Rain

I'm in my rookie yr of season tickets. My question to anyone who may have experienced this, but do people still tailgate if there is a pretty decent rain coming down? My friend and I were thinking about getting to Giants Stadium by 4 at the latest. Dont wanna go down there and be the only 2 morons in the parking lot waiting there for the next 4 hrs for the game to start.

don't know about NY but in GB we are out there regardless... I'd say get the face paint ready and get there early.
