Of these 2, maybe FOF 2007. I haven't had any success in my solo careers so far.

I believe it rides on how high your prestige is (BBCF). And if you recruit well. Haven't played a lot of FOF but would seem by default to be the tougher game. Talent is much closer range, less teams etc. Parallels IRL to NFL vs. CFB.
