Dumb question about the bowls

Is it possible for a team to accept more than one bowl bid? I know this is probably never going to happen, but, let's say the Motor City Bowl has a deal with the MAC, so they invite Central Michigan. Is there anything preventing Ohio State from saying "hmm, that would make a nice warm-up for our game with Florida" and trying to get into that game as well?

I believe there are limitations on the number of games a team can play in a season that probably prevent it.
