Family Guy - The Video Game

Just picked this up for m PSP for my upcoming trip. I figured that I needed something mindless to play for the time I would be away that may be tntertaining.

I can see the gameplay is not the greatest in the world, as I expected, but so far I have to say this game is pretty damn funny. It is definitely worth it for the entertainment value so far.

Anyone else try this yet?

The game can be very frustrating at times but also has the show's usual sense of humor. Odddly, I probably enjoy it more because I have it an the PSP. For just sitting down and playing anywhere for a little while it is okay but it sould piss me off to sit in front of the television to play it.

It really needs what Simpsons Hit and Run had which is an option to skip a portion after you fail X number of times. There are some jumping puzzles here that are just maddening at times.

I think for my trip it is fine because it has been play a little here and a little there and usually that leads to eventually getting it right instead of getting more and more frustrated because of repeated attempts at the same sitting.

There are some funny lines and some that are funy the first time you hear them but get some lines get quite repetitive (not just because you have to repeat sequences but because they seem triggered multiple times in a level).

I cannot tell you how many times I head "I feel like there's a video game going on in my head" and that's just during the same attempt not even during the repeated attempts at that jumping section.
