Didn't watch, but while flipping through channels, I noticed a "Sopranos on A&E" icon on the bottom right.... so I'm guessing it aired.

It did. Saw part of the first episode. They left in the word "shit," but dubbed out the f-word.

That's what BET is doing with The Wired, too, which I watched last night instead of Sopranos.

Am I allowed to snicker because my wife and I just finished watching it on our ancient technology known as the VCR ;)
I'm quite happy about this because I've never seen an episode with it being on HBO so we get a chance to watch it from start to finish :)

That's what I'm going to do. Fortunately for me they are reairing it tomorrow night, so I reset my dvr.

The other thing I've noticed is that it goes for different lengths so you might want to have it run a little long- until 10:30 or so (2:30 after it starts)- even tho it won't always go that long.

Figured I'd give this a bump- for anyone watching it now, was considering making this one of those "active watching" threads with discussion only up through the part of the series that has been shown on A&E. Basically something like a late to the party thread for those of us just catching up now and not to be spoiled by people who know what is going to happen 3 seasons down the road
