Since I am not getting much sleep lately I had to break out the coffee this morning. I have not had any coffee for a couple of weeks but the 3-4 hours of sleep the last 4 or 5 nights has caught up to me.
So I just topped off a pot off coffee in about an hour.
I am major freaking wired, almost to the point of buzzing a little.

Sounds like you need a Red Bull to calm down.

Indeed. I just don't suck down large mounts of caffiene. Nothing against it, it just doesn't happen. So when I need it, it REALLY works well for me.
Until I crash in a few hours. :D

The night at work, I did an iced mocha with 2 extra shots of espresso. I felt like I was a kid again, or something. Boundless amounts of energy for the next 4 hours or so. RedBull, on the other hand doesn't do shit for me....

About four years ago I realized caffeine was giving me terrible headaches. Who knows how long I just lived with it. I miss it like one would miss an old drinking buddy.
My father, my right hand to God, would drink at least a pot of coffee before arriving at work every morning. He would fill a 64 oz. cup for the drive to work in addition to four or five cups before he left. He would then drink another pot before lunch. My mother was/is not that much better.
My parents inability to function, be decent to people, or respond in full sentences before having at least 4-5 cups of coffee has led me to hate coffee, and hate the people who drink it even more.
There...I said it.

I am never going to live that one down, and perhaps it is just.
