The tagline at the end referenced "King Pharmaceuticals" (http://www.kingpharm.com/kingpharm/default_post.asp), the spot is pushing Altace, an ACE inhibitor.
The bears should refuse to play on offense and just give the ball to the colts to try to score on a defensive turnover.

Is this a good time to come out and say that I've never "gotten" Prince?
edit: After re-reading this and figuring how it could be interpreted, I just want to state that I'm not gay.

This halftime show is alright. I do like him playing guitar, I have to admit.
The game is far superior though. darn good SB so far.

That's usually the first thing I think about whenever Prince comes up.

This was a MUCH better halftime show than the last few. Of course, I've always liked Prince's music.

So far I'd have to agree. I wouldn't stick my head out my front door to hear this either, but at least it hasn't been annoying so far.
Good mix of rocking songs and some sweet guitar. Maybe not the perfect halftime show, but best in at least the last 5 years...maybe more.

BTW, I went to the NFL Experience at Dolphins Stadium yesterday. It was a zoo! Lines were worse than Disney World. I spent $20 for two mini pizzas and drinks (non-alcoholic). But I did get nice some video of the Lombardi Trophy and they had some cool exhibits from the HOF.
dola edit -- oh, and some scalpers were selling Super Bowl tickets for a grand!

Prince was fine. His stage show was far less entertaining than I expected. The audio sucked, but SB halftime audio generally does. And for the love of God when will the SB producers learn that smoke doesn't work live and on camera?

Kind of a meh halftime IMO, but then I'm not a big Prince fan.
But it was nice that it wasn't some overblown production like its been the past several years.

Crowd is loud and everything looks fine with my HD feed (except for the aforementioned annoyance with cameramen who can't seem to keep their lens clear of drops of water.)

Are the Colts having handoff issues, or are they just extremely delayed? It just seems kind of jerky right now.
Also, it looks like Chicago is playing the OSU defense. Let Manning (Leak) beat you underneath all day, but don't let them get you long.

I watched the whole first half on a really fuzzy/snowy channel where I couldn't even see the ball before my girlfriend told me that we had two different CBS's, Channel 7 comes in perfect. Lame (I'm new to this University and never watch TV)

It could have been a regional thing, though I also remember thinking U2 was a poor choice for the biggest US sporting event...especially the first one after 9/11.

Easy Mac
02-04-2007, 07:58 PM
I understand you don't take points off the board, but even if you don't get the TD, the bears are at their 1 yard line with a QB who has fumbled 2 of the last 4 times he has touched the ball.
And they give that one 15 yards and not roughing the kicker?
st.cronin
02-04-2007, 08:03 PM
They really need to bench Grossman. This is a Tony Eason like performance.
