help me find a good RPG

I am looking for a good RPG. I would like to spend $20-$30 dollars and don't mind if it is an older game ( I may actualy prefer it). I am looking in the vein of old school wizardry, something simple to learn that doesn't involve alot of extra steps. Any suggestions are appreciated.

If you don't mind older type interfaces (not necessarily older type games), then Geneforge 4, which came out recently, might be right up your alley. The game runs for $28 but there games are always deep. Try out the demo and you will be amazed with the amount of content they allow you to have access to. You could also browse around their site for other roleplaying titles.

Another option is Fate. While Geneforge is turn based, this one is realtime and is a much more casual game. A few of us on this board have purchased this and you won't hear many complaints about the game. On top of that, there are some good mods for it as well. This game runs for $20.
