Did anyone else hear him bash Joakim Noah? and make some other interesting statements to someone in the background on the radio when he didn't know he was on the air. They just played it on the local station here. Apparently hes doing the Tenn v Florida game tonight. Should be interesting.

Among other things he said Joakim had no shot, Hansford? is much better and "Ill tell you what, Billy Donovan told me these draft guys are making a big mistake, he told me Hansford is much better than Noah, now this is something he would never say in public though".

Then when they got his attention and told him he was on the air all along he got defensive and said he was just joking and Billy Donovan told him that in jest...But when he was talking in the background he sounded dead serious.

While I have problem at all with Vitale having an opinion, it is a pretty big screwup to sell out a coach like that. Hopefully this will have ramifications on both of them. (Since I hate them both)

The biggest problem is probably that it makes Donovan look bad. I pretty much agree with his statement too.
