So I realized I was getting a little too heated so went to play a game of NCAA 2003 on my PS3.
I'm 20 seconds from upsetting #25 Utah with Wyoming when the PS3 just.. shuts off.
I reached in the back and turned it back off and on and then it worked fine again, but I was wondering if anyone else had this problem come up. Is it just a freak occurrence or will I need to change this next-gen system too?

I've had mine for around two and a half months now and haven't had this happen. Played a fair amount with no issues thus far. Hopefully just a freak occurance for you.

Its a feature implemented by sony to make sure people don't play it too long.

Haven't had a single problem with mine thus far. It's a launch system. The PS3 and Wii have actually both been very reliable and have very low return rates overall. Probably would just write it off as a freak thing.

I'll just treat it as a freak thing for now then.

I know you're saying something, but all I hear is "Blah Blah Blah I'm a dirty Microsoft whore."

I was kidding, but ok, whatever. :-)
I'm the exact opposite. I hate Microsoft. I'm a definite Sony fan.

Based on the reviews I've read, no, I wouldn't have a problem with that.
