Answer: You can't. Therefore, this will suck greatly.

Way to completely take GI Joe and make it completely un-GI Joe from the start. A Buddy movie featuring Duke and ACTION MAN???

As long as it has Refigerator Perry, I'm happy.

I love how they put it, pretty much, "Everything that made GI Joe, well GI Joe is very hard to do and would look silly, so we're just not going to do it."

Time to move onto another project or consider a CG or animated version of the movie instead of taking a bad idea and making a worse movie.

Their next project will be making a transformers movie, except not with robots, because that would be hard to do.

Nah, they can have them in one form of the other, but you never see them transform on screen, or move unless they're in vehicle form.

Or he'll just get Mark Wahlberg to play the role and paint him up to look like Optimus.

HAHAHA! So sort of like going out with my camera phone and taking a picture of my truck and doing a voice over, then should I send it to Warner Brothers for final production?

Or they could have the transformers go into a phone booth everytime they change.

How about a crossover.

Action Force is famous all over the world. It may be a rip off of GI Joe, but it has a huge following. Don't be so American.:)

Simple answer, Welcome to Hollywood!!!

I think the average IQ of an executive in Hollywood is slightly higher than someone who goes around pissing on exposed electrical lines.

GI Joe without Cobra Command is like Star Trek without the Federation.

"All the characters will be there, and it'll be really fun but unfortunately our president has put us in a position internationally where it would be very difficult to release a movie called G.I. Joe internationally in a lot of places. I'm a big G.I. Joe fan and to add one character to the mix is sort of a fun thing to do."

Hey, here's an idea...How 'bout you don't make one at all?????

It seems that Joseph Gordon-Levitt will be Cobra Commander. However, in the first movie he may not have quite become him yet.

Based on these pictures, I have a feeling I am going to be a big Scarlett fan.

INDEED

I don't know what is with the goofy batman-esque costumes. They should be wearing typical military attire.

That is what annoyed me about those pictures. They all look the same.

I just heard on a CNN podcast that they're gonna make a Smurf's movie, so out of curiousity I looked up He-Man and found out this will also be made in 2009.. wtf?

What the hell? If they decided to dump the entire plot of the series, why even call it G.I. Joe?

Steaming pile of crap.

yeah but look at how the smurfs are gonna look

John Lithgow's gonna be in it, I think. I dunno, I liked the way they looked in the 80's, not sure about this half-computerized, half-live action stuff.

I always kind of liked the director of GI Joe when I'm in the mood for a light-hearted, action oriented movie.

However for GI Joe, which I loved as a kid in the 80s, i dunno if I'll be seeing this one.

However eventually I'm sure the movie will find its way onto my netflix queue.

what i think this movie needs is a fight scene between scarlett and the baroness where they rip each others clothes off...that might be the only way to save it.

Dolph Lundgren is still alive, right? Or is he busy with "Universal Solider VIII: Direct to the Sci Fi Channel"?
