Even so, the debate would give Democrats a chance to put Republicans on record as opposing a timetable on the war at a time when most American voters oppose it.

So, what's happening here? Democrats want to put Republicans on record as opposing a timetable on the war when most American voters oppose a timetable?

Or do most voters oppose the war?

It's not that hard to construct a clear sentence, guys.

I get customers who don't understand the difference between game hardware and game software. "Do you have Nintendo Wii games?" when what they really mean is "Nintendo Wii systems."

Trust me, people like that would have no difficulty getting confused by the sentence I quoted. :p

That's why you just play along and point them towards the games. I did telephone support for 8 years, trust me I know how stupid people are. ;)
