As a Chargers fan, I have to share this, even if it probably isn't really that big of a deal to anyone here and people could care less, I just find it funny how I see things and how kids see things...

I get a call from my youngest step daughter (who's 12) and proceeds to tell me that one of her good friends from elementary school and middle school is moving up to the San Francisco area because Marty lost his job.

I'm thinking, "Marty who?" and ask her who she is talking about. She says, "Come on, you know Marty from the Chargers!?" Ah, Marty Schotenheoaikhnoighoihmer, and I ask her what that has to do with her friend from school. So she said that since Marty isn't with the Chargers anymore her dad got a new job up in San Francisco and that they are moving next month and won't be too far from where we are going to be living.

So I asked if her friends dad worked for/with the Chargers and she said, "Yeah, but I don't know who he is, but they have to move. Hes been my friend since the second grade." She couldn't tell me the kids last name and said when she got home she'd look in her yearbook to see what his last name is. I had give her a hard time about not knowing her friends last name.

So, I get a call about 20 minutes later and she said that his last name is Menasky or however you say it and his dads first name is Greg. I asked her if she meant, Manusky and she said that was correct.

So, here I am, a big Chargers fan that has a step daughter that has a friend from school who was the Chargers' Linebackers coach for the last 4 years and she somehow failed to mention this to me one time and all I can think about is all the missed Chargers games I could have went to and she's excited that one of her friends from school in San Diego is going be close to us when everyone gets moved up here.

So yeah, the guy part of me was bummed because of the potential to get free tickets to Chargers games was missed, but, the other part of me was proud of my step daughter for not getting caught up in the glitz and the lights of the big show and isn't friends with him because of who his dad is, but is friends with him because of who the kid is.

Just thought I share that as I thought it was interesting.

That doesn't mean you can't have her invite Colton and his folks over for dinner some night. I'm just sayin'.

Hey, I agree!! Haha.
I'm more than willing to fire up the grill and put some steaks on for company.

That's pretty funny.

I just started working at Pizza My Heart in Los Gatos, and a guy I work with is dating Mike Nolan's daughter....he was telling me about how he loves road trips because she has the house to herself.

So, has he invited his co workers over for a party at Mike Nolans house yet?

How's the pizza there? We had a weird experience with a delivery driver from Mountain Mikes last week here at work.

I don't think the kid is in good enough to throw parties there yet, but he has used it to his advantage in other ways, if you're inclined to believe him at his word. He says the parents don't like him because they know him and their daughter have knocked boots. It would be scary to be on an NFL coach's bad side....

I used to work at Mountain Mike's as well..Pizza My Heart is really good if you like New York style pizza, and it's quite useful for just grabbing a slice on your lunch break or whenever you're hard up for time. If you want a thick crust, Pizza My Heart is a no-go.

Damn, he is in her panties, but, can't put a get together for his coworkers yet, dang it. And summer is coming up too.

It would be funny if he had him be the tackling dummy at the 49ers camp. "You wanna screw my daughter??!!?? Come with me on a little field trip."

I'm a pepparoni and cheese pizza eater, how's it there at Pizza My Heart? As long as it tastes good, doesn't matter much to me how thick or thin the crust is. You guys serve beer there?

I'm pretty much a pepperoni and cheese guy myself while I'm at work, and I have to say it's really good. The pepperoni has a bit of a spice to it, but it doesn't take away from the overall enjoyment of the meal. No beer, though..the beer buttons are still in the touch screen menu, which tells me beer was served at one point. That's just the Los Gatos location, though. Other locations may or may not. I know, a pizza place that doesn't serve beer is like a massage parlor that doesn't offer happy endings....

That is just wrong. Haha.
