I'm getting together with my brother and a few friends for a "Man's Weekend" (or as my wife calls it, a "Teenage Boy's Weekend") which involves drinking much beer (and other alcohol), playing video games, playing board games, seeing at least one big action movie, having one good meal, and just hanging out...

Anyway, we're toying with the idea of having one of our friends bring his Xbox 360 to my brother's (who has one) and me bringing my TV over from some dual Xbox, system-link madness. However, we've done pulled this off before, so I come to you all for advice.

1. Is linking two Xbox 360's as simple as connecting them via an ethernet cable? (Based on my limited research this seems to be true, but wanted some verification).

2. What games are good to play via system-link on two Xbox 306's? Is there a list of such games and the number of players per counsel, etc.? (I looked and couldn't find too much on this).

3. Any other thoughts/suggestions on this front?

Thanks.

Gears of War is fun but it can only be 2 on 2 which can get lame if you play people who play the game all the time and know all the maps.

GRAW and GRAW2 are both fully system-link capable. Up to 4 players per box.

Can't remember if you can just run a cable between them or not. I've got a home network setup at home, so I just plug into the hub.

Thanks, fellas.

One more question. This may be obvious, but if you are going to system-link two Xbox 360's to play a game, do you need two versions of the same game? I.e., two discs?

Yes you need two discs.
