I liked Dodgerchick's idea about getting the Netflix users on her friend list so much that I am going to copy it! My friend Ardent tells me that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery after all.

Blockbuster has the same feature where you can add friends to a friend page and see their selections, queue, choices, ratings, favorites, etc.

I would be curious to see what choices others have made in order to have a way to find new movies to rent.

Anyone subscribe to the Blockbuster online service want to let me add them to my friend list? :)

Hey, I have a better idea: why don't you join the dark side and subsribe to Netflix eh? :p

dola,

I think either Doug or sabotai mentioned it on the "Last Movie You Watched" thread and thought it'd be a great idea.

Join us Alan... join us :)

Based on the overwhelming response to this thread, I'd say yes ;)

I use blockbuster.com as well. It's nice to take movies you've seen to the store and get a freebie. Plus, the free console game rental every month is nice.

Thats how I feel too. The main reason I switched from netflix in fact. Their turn around time is quite fast, so its likely each week that I can get 5 movies in plus 1 free game a month is nice. (I used my free game rental on forza 2 this month for the xbox)

I added Marc to my friendlist, would love to add more just for new movie ideas. I've rated about 250 movies I think so far from watching them, so always looking for new selections.
