This will be a draft pick dynasty, where I will follow players over the course of their careers. I call it 1st and 10 because I will be looking at a few positions each time, and picking the best and the 10th best player in the draft at those positions. How good they are will depend on how thin the draft is at their position, I expect to see everything from legends of the game to scrubs who never make an NFL roster, but it should be interesting.
I've done a previous draft pick dynasty and it's been a lot of fun.

I'll be starting in a new game in 2007 with fictional players.
Quarterbacks
1st
QB Dexter Hoffman played for Pittsburgh, and is the best of a pretty poor crop of QBs this year. The combine scouts rate him at 5.9, and he likes to throw long passes. To be honest this guy is hard to read, he has a high volatility and his skills are all over the place, his very low accuracy doesn't look too good but he's high in the intangibles, timing, read defense and so forth. He can definitely throw the ball too. This is one of those guys who could go either way, he could stabilize and be a really nice QB or he could bomb out.
10
QB Norm Ewart is the 10th best QB in the draft, graded at 4.9, out of San Diego State. He looks like he could be a decent short pass quarterback, but he doesn't have much of an arm and has trouble reading defenses. If he gets drafted this guy will be on someone's bench for a long time.
Running Backs
1st
Sherman Sampson from Stanford is a great player, and will most likely be a top 3 pick., he's currently scouted as the 2nd best player in the draft. He's graded at 7.1 and looks to be the complete package, with very nice power and speed, and good pass catching ability as well. He ran a 4.57 dash, not the fastest but it's not bad. Sherman is going to put some numbers on the board for some team.
10
Richard Grayvil out of Wagner is graded 5.0 and looks like the kind of player who could surprise a lot of teams. He runs a 4.56 dash, slightly better than Sampson, but he doesn't have much power, he looks like a burst runner rather than a guy who's going to run through people. He's well developed and looks like he can catch some passes. All in all he looks like he could succeed as a backup runner.
Wide Receivers
1st
Trevor Kakoza from Kansas is a burner, with 4.38 speed only two players in the whole draft are faster. He's got good skills, is graded 6.1 and looks like he can be an excellent receiver, though he's very undeveloped (27%) at this point and may need a season or two to really get used to the pace of the NFL. Once he does though, look out, he has big play receiver written all over him.
10
Brandon Reed played for Nebraska and has 4.39 speed, so he'll get downfield quickly. He is one of those min/max players where his stats are either nothing or maxed, so he'll end up somewhere in the middle. He can get downfield and make the big play, but doesn't run very good routes. He's only graded 4.6 so he may get ignored, but I think he can play at the NFL level.
Outside Linebackers
1st
SLB Randal Pritchett from LSU is graded 6.9 and is the 5th best player in the draft. He's got 4.42 speed and looks like a great defensive player, with his zone defense his only area that lags behind. Randal is very volatile and could be better developed, but he looks like a defensive star in the making.
10
SLB Donald Flynn from Florida State is something of a mystery. He declined to work out at the combine, is graded 5.0, but his scouting report looks great, with high marks across the board. To me he looks like a great sleeper player, a guy with his skills could go far in the NFL. We'll see if he gets the chance to show what he can do.
Cornerbacks
1st
Corner Britt Cash just barely nudged out Dexter Dodge for the top spot, both are very close, and they're both very fast, the two fastest players in the draft in fact. Britt played for Louisiana Tech and is very well developed and ready to start at CB. He's graded 7.0 and will certainly go fast in the draft. He looks excellent across the board, and looks like a franchise cornerback.
10
Thomas Gardner out of Iowa State is graded 4.9 and is extremely volatile. He looks like a middle of the road player, though great in a bump and run defense. With his volatility, he could break out or be a complete bust, it's hard to read right now. I think he's a player who would need a particular type of defense to play well in.
