A week off then it's Nebraska. I would *LOVE* to be 5-0 facing Oklahoma, since that's the first loss I believe we'll get. Nebraska is going to be a handful though.
Anyhow.. I'll be there on 10/20 when we play Texas Tech. Some friends and I are going down early for tailgating and what not... lets meet up!

Ummm, Missouri basketball has tipped off already? Who knew?
Seriously though, that game should be a high flying affair. neither team can play a lick of defense. I expect MU to win by 7 but I'm hopeful the Huskers can pull it out in the 4th. i wouldn't be surprised to see the total pass 120.

I completely expected Missouri to lose this game... but after seeing Nebraska struggle with Ball State, I think it will be a tight affair that could go either way.

I have a few friends up at Nebraska who are season ticket holders. I've heard a lot of talk from them that Nebraska's defensive speed is not very good. I'm not too sure that they'll be the team to stop our offense. Oklahoma will be the better test. I expect us to beat NU by double digits. Wish I could make the NU game, but have other obligations that weekend.
I'll check on coming to the TT game. I've got a 7 month old, so no guarantees. I'll have to drop by the PowerMizzou.com tailgate as well. Those guys lay out quite a spread.
FYI......'panerd' is on this board and is a Mizzou fan as well.

Of course you do.
I'm going to revise my prediction and say that NU wins by double digits. Call it the "PS3" effect.

NU is two plays away from being 1-3. They should have lost the Wake Forest game and were outplayed by Ball State last weekend. If they were anyone other than Nebraska, they would have fallen from the rankings last week. Instead, they're 3-1 and ranked. It's fine by me. It will make it look like a quality win when Mizzou beats them.

Sorry Sack.. I knew you didn't live close enough to attend. :)

Totally agree that NU is overrated... I will have my TV on for the MU-NU showdown... provided Ohio State isn't on at the same time. :D

If only Kansas had lost.
Upshot, since both Oklahoma State and Colorado lost this week, a berth in the Big 12 title game is Missouri's for the taking if they can run the table the rest of the way.

Yep, beautiful day to be at the game and the result was nice as well. Wife had to work or I would have been down there. Instead, I enjoyed it with my 8 month old. :)

Still a tough road, but I like what I've seen so far this year.

Oklahoma State won their game last night. Did you mean Kansas State?

Piggyback on the ping.
Yesterday my bridesmaid partner in the wedding party was former Mizzou OT Joel Clinger's girlfriend. He's 6'6 (though he appears as tall as my 6'8 buddy who was married) and she's probably all of 5'3.
During the wedding party dance, she asked how I wanted to hold her. I said, "Whichever way doesn't result in me being twisted into a pretzel."

I've met Joel before. Seemed like a good guy.
Met him briefly. Said hi and shook his hand. He took some pictures of us while we were dancing. Seemed like a nice guy.
From what she told me, he's trying out (or already has) for the All American football league.
