The Reveal Phase begins Saturday(November 10th) and extends for the life of the thread. This is optional. This is the phase in which you can reveal which pictures you had taken. Up until this point, you shall remain anonymous. That way there will be no biases towards your work. You do not have to reveal yourself if you choose not to do so. However, if you wish to get help with how to improve your shots, this could be a good starting point.

Well it looks like this may soon come to an end. I knew participation would eventually dwindle, but to be honest, I thought it would happen a lot sooner. Thanks to all who have contributed. We may try to start up over the holidays again if there is still interest, but for now, there really have been 2 consistent people.

I thought about starting a post processing photo challenge, but that takes a lot more work to set up and I am not sure if there is still any interest. So far now, this will at least be on hiatus.

Thanks again to all that contributed over the weeks. I realize that holiday season is around the corner.

kansas city - I like the wide angle shot and I would have moved the camera to the right a little to see more of the high-rise buildings.. but it's still a solid shot.

kaufman - Great angle.. it reminds me of miniature golfing because of the great green grass and the area underneath the scoreboard.

ketchuponfry - Good concept, but it's a little blurry. I might have cropped in a little tighter.

kickoff1 - I love the leg extension and the ball leaving his foot milliseconds after impact. I know under these situations it's a little difficult to set the camera so the background could be blurred, but it's still a great picture.

kiki - another picture with a great angle. I would have cropped the top so the focus is on the cat and and all the stuff on him.
Good job getting down to the cat's level!

I was ketchuponfry. I realize the focus was on Ant's fingers but the low lighting didn't allow for a faster shutter speed. Camera settings were: 1/15 sec, f2.0, with an ISO of 200 and a 50 mm lens.

When we got home Antmeister suggested I change the ISO to 800 to allow either a higher shutter speed, or a smaller aperture (or is it bigger? I get confused with the terminology) so more stuff is in focus and he took several pictures and was right. I didn't take another ketchuponfry picture, but in low light situations, an ISO of 800 isn't too bad, but 1600 or 3200 is really high and adds tons of noise to a picture.

Anyway, this was the other picture I was considering uploading:

Thanks to all who participated, it really pushed me take my camera and take pictures. I'll continue doing so thru flickr, here's a really good group if anyone is interested: http://www.flickr.com/groups/techguy/
