I just mortgaged the farm and traded up in the draft for the #1 pick overall.
I selected a QB rated 6.8/7.7 that scored blue in the 40...red in sole/agility/strength...black in the bjump.
His Pspec was 85 and the scout said he was only 6% developed.
And the interview revealed he was "Very Under Rated" !!!
I have one of the top 5 QB's in the league with 3 years to go on his contract, so I have time to develop the new kid...barring injuries.
My OC is rated Excellent for QB's and Good for young talent.
Pre-TC was rated 11/60 with 7 forms...post TC he was 12/67 with 9 formations learned. I had allocated 2 hours and 30 minutes in the TC schedule for film study.
After the exhibition season he was at 13/67.
My Scout is rated Good for QB's and Excellent for young talent.
The previous year the #1 player was a QB. Now at the beginning of his second year he is rated at 59/88. Looking at this guy, I wonder if my rookie has decent chance in becoming say a 75/75 player down the road???
