Thought I'd pass this on if anyone was unemployed or looking for a career change. They're looking for someone to do some independent console testing for MS, Sony and/or Nintendo consoles. You don't need to have direct job experience with a gaming company. Experience with multiple beta tests with defect tracking systems is just as good (OOTP and FM are good examples). Good company with great benefits. I believe the pay rate runs around 52-58K.

Cool. If I lived in the area, or had reason to relocate to Denver.

Maybe you can re-enact Grandma's Boy while you're at it as well....

I'd think about it, but:
1) I already have a good job.
2) My experience with tech releated fileds, especially in the testing end of it is that the jobs just aren't stable. 52 to 58 sounds good until you get booted out of the job after 4 months.

The contract on the job is for a couple of years (with opportunities for mutual extension). I believe the current contract is for PSP and 360 testing with other consoles possibly being added at a later date.
Also, this company is a salaried position and they have testing contracts in other industries. If this contract ever were to end, they have multiple other contracts that would allow you to continue working with them.

There are also game testing positions just outside Raleigh, NC (and programming and art and design) for those who don't want to move to Denver: http://www.redstorm.com/employment/
