For under $125,000 you can have this 3184sqft of living space, 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2 garage home. Large master suite with shitting area and large walk ins. 2 or 3 living areas-will depend on the special buyer, downstairs has an open living plan. 5th bd can be maids or mother-in-law.

What makes this good is this was on a regional/local real estate website. I read it and died laughing. I then called the realtor, my wife. I then started asking her about the house and she wanted to know why I was asking about it. I then said we had to have that house, it was great, and read it to her. I didn't get past "shitting area" before I started laughing so hard I was crying. She was horrified. So I then started making stupid comments, like "What a great house, 3 bathrooms AND a shitting area!!" As she laughed/yelled at me to stop.

She then told me that it was going into print tomorrow in the local real estate magazine! I almost died I was laughing so hard. I almost regret telling her because now it will get fixed first. She must have done that one on no sleep, I won't let let her forget it for a long time though. :D

That's great, you were a print away from having a Jay Leno headline article.

Maybe you had to be there. I need sleep, later girls.

I hate Jay Leno, good thing about that.

Was it supposed to be sitting area?

How can you have a sitting area in a shitting area? That doesn't make any sense.

Was it supposed to be sitting area? No, it was supposed to be a hitting area, very common in homes of the 1950s and current day New Jersey.

Or the homes of MLB players like Brett Myers, Eljah Dukes, and Wil Cordero...

The previous owners didn't clean up the shitting area.

Nice looking house, too. Houses down where I live are cheap. My house is 2400 sqft. or so, big yard, nice neighborhood, we paid $98,000. It is worth about $125,000 now or so 4 years later so prices are going up a little.

Also, I would have to ask but I am pretty sure that house is a REPO house. My wife has worked her way into that area of real estate and most of her listings are repos, that would have an effect on the price some.

A shitting area though, well, I think that bumps up the price a good $5000.

Ummm, isn't a shitting area also referred to as a throne room?

A shitting area would definitely up the price, one would think.

Kind of reminds me when we bought out first house. There was a Florida room in the back, and one wall was nothing but built in storage. There must have been close to thirty drawers and cupboards on that wall, and about a month after we moved in I opened a drawer for the first time only to realize that the previous owners had used that particular drawer as a litter box.

And no, they hadn't cleaned it out before we moved in.

I would say that depends on how you decorated it.

That's just wrong. Having seen many of these repo houses though, it is amazing what people do when they leave a house.

The old, deposed, owners of our house had turned the living room into a shitting room for their dogs. That was a nightmare to deal with.
