Stupid XBOX 360 Question

The elite HDMI component, do they sell it seperately for the Xbox pro? I just got an HD TV and I was curious.

I could be wrong, but I believe only the "elite" comes with an HDMI connection on the unit.

You would need to use the VGA connector or the component connector that comes with the 360 pro.

Depends on how old your 360 is, DTR.

If you've bought your Xbox 360 since, say, September, you almost certainly have an HDMI port on the console, regardless of whether it's Pro, Arcade, Elite, or Halo 3 Special Edition.

The cable is only *included* with the Elite, but it is sold separately, and all four versions of the console currently sold at retail support that connection.

I can confirm that the Pro has the HDMI connection. It's on the box of the one I bought over Thanksgiving.

Yeah, mine doesn't have one since I bought it quite a bit ago.

Thanks guys. I got mine in July so I doubt it but I haven't checked thoroughly. I'll give it a look around later and see.

If it's a premium, bought in July, you're probably out of luck. the HDMI-enabled Pro's didn't start showing up until August or so, and didn't completely supplant the non-HDMI boxes (at least where I work) until sometime in late September.
