I heard it on ESPN Radio in the morning and I'll link a blog that talks about it, but last night PTI co-host Michael Wilbon suffered a minor heart attack and was rushed to the hospital at 3am Monday morning.

I can't stand the show, but that's never good news. Wilbon is the tolerable one in that pairing too... it's Kornholio that I really can't stand.

Fidatleo is completely wrong, of course. PTI is the best show on television.

Haven't seen the show in quite a while but it is decent enough. Too bad about Wilbon, hopefully he will be ok.

Yeah they started off PTI yesterday waying Wilbon was under the weather, so JA Adande was filling in, and then about halfway through the show said that Wilbon had had some chest pains and went to the hospital to get checked out, but that he'd "just" called them (not sure how long before air that they tape) and said he was OK.

I didn't watch the whole thing, but did remember JA saying he was "under the weather." I hope he's okay. I do appreciate his commentary and even his work in the Post. Kornheiser can be a bit much, but even after a few years, that show is still one of the few things on ESPN that I can watch and generally enjoy. I think if it weren't those two, it wouldn't work as well.

Hopefully it's nothing too serious, and he gets better quickly. Enjoyable guy, it's basically the only show on ESPN I can stand.

Looks like he had an angioplasty here in Scottsdale:

Michael Wilbon, who co-hosts ESPN's "Pardon the Interruption" and writes a column for The Washington Post, remained hospitalized Tuesday, a day after undergoing an angioplasty in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Wilbon was taken to a Scottsdale-area hospital early Monday morning. Doctors found a minor blockage in one of his arteries and performed the angioplasty.

He is expected to leave the hospital soon, possibly as early as Wednesday.

Wilbon missed the airing of Monday's episode of "PTI" and was replaced by ESPN.com's J.A. Adande, who sat opposite Tony Kornheiser. A possible date for Wilbon's return to the show is unknown.

49 years old. Hopefully, he gets better soon.
