Last night, for what was not the first time, as I was sitting at our local Ruby Tuesday (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=W+Tilghman+St+%4040.593155,+-75.544139&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=48.555061,82.265625&ie=UTF8&ll=40.593456,-75.544079&spn=0.001432,0.002511&t=h&z=19&om=0)'s* I noted that I really liked the music they play in the dining area and it is music that I've never heard before with a few exceptions.

This is one of the few places where I actually listen to the music being played while I dine. I almost asked our waiter if they had a play-list I could see but decided against it.

* damn google maps not getting updated maps, RT is the green patch of grass north of the green arrow.

It was probably satellite radio. I had a similar experience somewhere (I forget where) recently and I was about to ask when an ad came on for "XM Channel (something)."

Yeah, having worked at TGIF for years I can tell you that most casual dining places use the satalite radio that is part of their TV package.

I went to a Chinese buffet last Saturday. I was there for maybe an hour. All they played was "Baby Got Back" on a loop.
