FOFC Chicago NFL Draft Get-Together (Take 2?)

Haven't been to one of these yet but am now going to try my best to attend one. I can't make this weekend but will be on the lookout for the next.

Can I still come to the draft party?

Yes! We got sidetracked, and the get-together got changed to a different weekend (plus all hell broke loose), but the whole point was to have a get-together to watch the draft, and I still want to do that. Seemed like a new thread was in order anyway, to talk about draft day, rather than two weeks before draft day.

I'm still in. I tried to talk Lathum into making the trip up from Cincy again, but he declined. Even though he'll be carrying less weight then he's used to -- I guess he's just a wuss. :p

Anyway, once we figure out who all is in, we can start figuring out where -- maybe early next week?

I believe it's April 26-27. I don't know how much action we'll get for Day 2, though.

I was supposed to be on the road this weekend, but I think this is now going to be cancelled.

My wife has already made contigency plans for that night, but I'm pretty sure that afternoon is open. The earlier we firm up something the more likely I am to be able to participate.

I just talked to Lathum, and he said he might be able to make it, but isn't sure. I still think the BW3's we went to in Tinley Park is a good idea, so that he wouldn't have to drive into the city on top of what he'd already be driving.

Looks like it's about that time. Anyone have objection to BW3's in Tinley Park? I can give rides to people who need them -- I drive an hour to work every day, so a ride to Tinley Park with a detour on the way and no traffic is still better than what I do every day, with traffic.

Based on a change of schedule I will be leaving the suburbs at 1:30/2, so I will likely be there 3ish.

2PM start time has me out - I would need to leave by 3 at the latest and Tinley Park is a frigging haul for me. I'm fine with TP for an all-day event, but not this small a slice of time.

I'm pretty much utterly unreliable for tomorrow. Several friends are getting together tonight, and there's no telling how late we'll be out. If it's a rough night, I ain't gonna wanna move (and it's not like Tinley Park is a short jaunt for me).
