I had 39 responses which was a pretty good turnout. Unfortunately, there were a couple of discriminator questions and a question that I had to make a hard call on, which was bad. Without further ado, here are the results:

1. What is your favorite fast food restaurant?
McDonald's was the most popular answer here by far. If you didn't answer this, you were out of the running.

29-McDonald's
4-Wendy's
3-Taco Bell
1-Subway
1-Chik-Fil-A
1-Burger King

2. What is your favorite sit-down chain restaurant?
Outback was running away early, but then the O.G. made a run...and then the last few kicked Outback over the top. I was surprised that Chili's didn't win and also surprised that TGIFriday's got so many votes. I was hoping somebody would vote for Chotchkie's.

10-Outback
8-Olive Garden
7-TGIFriday's
5-Chili's
5-Applebee's
1-Denny's
1-P.F. Chang's
1-Pizza Hut
1-Smokin Bones

3. How many times a week do you eat out?
An interesting spread here and I was hoping somebody would say 21, but alas it didn't happen. 1 and 3 were the most popular answers.

12-One time
11-Three times
8-Two times
3-Five times
2-Zero times
2-Four times
1-Six times

4. What is your favorite drink at a restaurant?
Beer was totally winning, until soda made a run at the end. I combined Coke, soda, pop, etc. into one answer.

17-Soda
13-Beer
4-Water
3-Iced Tea
1-Red Wine
1-Margarita

5. What is your favorite meal at a restaurant?
Steak was the discriminator here.

24-Steak
8-Hamburger
4-Pasta
1-Smoked Ribs
1-Pizza
1-Chicken Fingers

6. With whom do you most often eat out?
This one was tough. I got answers that ranged from "Wife" to "SWMBO" to "Spouse" to "Signifcant Other" to "Wife & Kids" to "Girlfriend/Significant Other" to "Wife/Significant Other". Suffice it to say I had to make some hard calls here. I decided to separate "Wife" from "Spouse" since Spouse could include Husband. I then decided to separate "Significant Other" from "Wife" and "Spouse" since that could also include a GF/BF. If you submitted "Wife/Significant Other" I included that into Significant Other, not wife since that would also include GF/BF. In retrospect, I should've made this one multiple choice. In any case, this did not change the outcome of the winner.

14-Wife
8-Family
8-Spouse
6-Significant Other
1-Co-Workers
1-Friends
1-Girlfriend

I picked taco bell, hoping the burger lovers would be split between McDs and Burger King

Added Pumpy and his answers. They didn't affect the overall winner, but some people moved up and down in the rankings.

Well it's what stupid thinks, not what I think.

But it's interesting that Wendy's and Taco Bell beat it. How could anyone not have put McDonald's for that one?

I can't believe Outback won, though. That actually *is* my favorite chain restaurant, but I put Chili's, since it had been a thread title for a while then.

#6 was tough and I was gonna put husband and realized that I'm on a male dominated board and put "wife".

#8 is my best finish by far, thanks for running it RA :)

#6 I put "wife".

There's an "eating out" joke to be made here, but I'm not going to do it.

One time a week?

how many of you bring lunch to work everyday. sheesh.

Yup, my thoughts exactly... I figured a lot of people eat out for lunch at least 3 times a week and a couple times for dinner.

Hey, it's not answering for ourselves, it's for stupid. Anyway, does a cafeteria count as eating out?

i would think it does if you pay for it

I didn't participate, but personally, I consider "eating out" to be going out for a sitdown dinner. If I had a tradition of meeting a buddy at Wendy's for dinner every Tuesday night, I wouldn't ever think to add it into my running "going out" total.

the rules were pretty clear on whats considered eating out.

I WON I WON I WON WI ON O WIN OW IN!!!!!

This has a smile on my face because I thought this would be my best one since I had to go against all my 'natural' answers. I don't eat beef so that means steak, I don't eat fast food especially McDonalds, I have been to Outback once in my life, and I have no idea how many times I eat out a week if at all.

This means I do the next IWS right? Any topic I want?

No, I have never looked at the details 100%. The scoring is each persons answer # times each other, and the percentage is that of the highest possible score?

All determinations of "matches" and anything else requiring judgment fall to that of the sole administrator of this round of the game. You can reduce the need for doubt and judgment by properly spelling your submissions, being clear, and that sort of thing. My decisions are final and inarguable. Whining or otherwise making a nuisance of yourself gives me license to reduce your score to zero, and make fun of you and/or your loved ones in public.

I believe that as per the above post, you can do what you want...but yes.

I was expecting that question 6 would lead people to coinflip between wife and girlfriend. So yeah, I decided to go with "friends" there and nuke my chances to a top5 finish. :o

But I won't complain, 26 is a better finish than I would have expected. :D

Right. Wife/Spouse/Significant other falls to you. I'm not knocking your judgment at all.

the rules were pretty clear on whats considered eating out.

I'm looking for this statement somewhere.

Not like I really care or anything :).

Any references that are unclear to you, due to language or geography, should be understood to be authored from the perspective of an English-speaking American. However...

Your answers do not necessarily have to be correct in order to score points. If I ask "what is the best team in the NFL?" and you and fifty other people responded "Oakland Raiders", you each get fifty-one points, period, even if it is not technically a correct answer to the question.

it's I'm with Stupid...you answere what "stupid" would answer not what you would answer.

Example in this game alone. 8 people picked Olive Garden (me included) yet only 4 picked pasta as favorite meal and "stupid" picked steak (me included) as that is what I and 23 other's thought most "stupid" people would pick.

on queston #6 I went vague with Family hoping for a group lumping of wife/kdis/family ect. didn't happen oh well.
