Wii Accessories

What are the must have Wii accessories? I know a charger and nunchuck, etc., but is extra memory a must, etc.?

No, unless you plan to buy lots of Virtual Console/Wii Ware games (I have a total of 0 of those and I've never come anywhere near to filling up the space that ships with the console).

I have 4 remotes and 4 nunchucks, plus the Nyko charger for 2 of the remotes. I can't think of any accessories besides those that I've ever wanted and I love the ones I have.

I am at 3 remotes and 3 nunchucks, and the Nyko charger as well. I intend to get the component cables when the tax rebate check gets here (need an HDMI-switching receiver to do it with everything else that's connected), and since I have a wired network I am going to pick up the wired adapter.

May or may not need some Gamecube controllers if you intend to play Gamecube games or some of the WiiWare / VC stuff.

Since you can't run Virtual Console/WiiWare games from an SD card the only real benefit to buying one is for custom soundtracks on games like Excite Truck and Endless Ocean that support them. Oh, and the photo channel I guess.

If Nintendo allowed VC games to be run of the SD card I wouldn't just have had to delete four VC games plus the Nintendo Votes Channel to buy some of the WiiWare stuff that just came out. Oh well.

Oh I forgot about component cables, which we bought with the system. Yeah, I wouldnt go without those.

You can transfer the games and stuff to the SD card, you just cant run from it, so you have to move it back to the console to run it. Pain in the neck.

You can buy and use memory cards for a camera for a lot less money.
